About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Executive to join our Partnerships team based within our London office. In this varied role which offers the opportunity to gain exposure to many departments across Liverpool Football Club, you will work closely with team members across our global offices.  

You will be responsible for providing effective day-to-day management of the entire partnership development process, acting as the “glue” which binds the Partnerships Development Team & key stakeholders together. 

What will you be doing? 

  • Project management of the sponsorship sales process, including management of key timelines and budgets. 

  • Provide logistical support throughout all stages of the sponsorship process, ensuring coordination between internal stakeholders to deliver on global partnership development plans. 

  • Play a critical role in the development and delivery of best-in-class outreach/marketing materials, introducing Liverpool FC to prospective partners. 

  • Proactively identify areas of improvement throughout the partnership process, carrying through from ideation to implementation. 

  • Research, build & maintain a portfolio of trusted suppliers. 

  • Provide ad hoc support for advanced discussions with prospective partners, including bespoke gifting and experiences. 

  • Management and development of the CRM system ensuring best practices when using and inputting data into the system. 

  • Provide weekly progress reports on sales activity and outreach. 

  • Support on key projects to ensure tech systems supporting the partnership process are suitable, efficient & innovative.   

Who are we looking for? 

To be successful you will have experience in a similar role together with an understanding of commercial sports and its position in the broader media and entertainment industry.   You will have strong project management skills and will have a high degree of competency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as experience working with Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or other CRM software. You will have a bachelor’s degree from a leading university or have equivalent experience. 

With your exceptional communication skills, you can build strong relationships and manage a variety of internal stakeholders. Ideally, you will have some experience of supporting and/or supervising a team. You’ll be proactive with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and have the confidence to use your initiative. You’ll be well organised with great prioritisation and problem solving skills. Due to the nature of the role, you must be within commutable distance of our London office as this will be your main base of work.
