About the role

The Partnerships Insight & Performance Team are responsible for the data and intelligence that informs every aspect of the club’s Partnerships business. The focus of this group is collating data from a variety of sources, making it accessible and digestible and then – most importantly – providing thoughtful analysis which drives improvement across all areas of the partnerships business. The team are closely aligned with the Partnerships Strategy function and where appropriate will provide support on a variety of strategic and commercial projects.
 
We are looking for an individual with a strong data and insights background to lead our Partnership Insight & Performance Team. You will be the Partnership department’s data expert ensuring that we have access to the most sophisticated data and information in the industry which can be used to inform every aspect of the Partnership business. 
  
What will you be doing?
 
  • Lead the identification, curation and analysis of all data that underpins and informs LFC’s partnerships business. 
  • Build a holistic view of the data requirements of the entire partnerships business.
  • Consistently review and evolve our data capabilities, maintaining a leadership position amongst our competitors in the sports & entertainment industry.
  • Own the measurement, analysis and reporting on partnership performance. 
  • Develop and implement a process for measuring and evaluating the performance of all partner campaigns. 
  • Implement a consistent reporting process across the entire LFC partner portfolio.
  • Develop a holistic view of the overall impact of partnering with LFC, enabling the club to present a credible and compelling ROI case to partners on their multi-million pound investment.
  • Manage the delivery of high-quality data and research to support the partnership sales effort.
  • Oversee a research capability which furnishes Partnership Sales with the insight and information required to secure multi-million pound partnerships.
  • Mentor & lead the Insights & Performance team.
  • Support strategic and ad hoc projects.
 
Who are we looking for?
 
You will have significant experience working in an analytical role within the wider sports, media and entertainment space with a demonstrable aptitude working with, managing, and analysing large data sets.  You will be structured and analytical in approach, able to apply frameworks to simplify rather than complicate business challenges. With your strong commercial acumen, you can weave data into commercial narratives and look for continuous improvement.  You will have the ability to build relationships and work effectively with a variety of people across all levels of within the Club.
