About the role

The LFC Foundation is the official charity of Liverpool Football Club. The Foundation has been delivering employability programs in Liverpool for many years and more recently in the US. This is an exciting opportunity to create and deliver high-quality employability programs to provide life-changing opportunities in the most deprived areas of New York and New Jersey, helping to raise the aspiration and job prospects for all participants.

THE LFC FOUNDATION’S WORKS PROGRAMS

This role will support the development of the LFC Foundation’s flagship international employability programs in New York and New Jersey. Working across all employability programs, including Creative Works, a creative-based skills development program and Soccer Works, a sport-based skills development program, which both develop the employability skills of young people at risk of long-term unemployment.

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for effective delivery of LFC Foundation employability program, taking participants from initial engagement during program delivery, through their mentoring and ultimately supporting their pathway into work experience and eventually meaningful paid employment.


Key Responsibilities

· Design and deliver engaging creative employability sessions that build skills and elevate career aspirations.

· Develop curriculum and collaborate with external partners to meet KPIs.

· Support participant identification and recruitment in coordination with UK-based teams.

· Coordinate program logistics including venues, transportation, meals and accommodations.

· Support the Senior Coordinator in building relationships with existing and new schools and organizations, and assisting with funder reporting.

· Facilitate high-quality work experience placements.

· Work closely with the Impact and Insights team to ensure the monitoring and evaluation framework is carried out effectively.

· Manage risk across employability programmes to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all young people and staff.

· Continually implement quality assurance procedures to ensure consistent delivery of a world-class programme.

· Embed the highest safeguarding standards across all areas of work.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

· Experience planning and delivering creative educational workshops or training sessions.

· Experience working with vulnerable populations.

· Understanding of inclusive, youth-centered work practices.

· Knowledge of youth mentoring models.

· Experience guiding young adults to additional opportunities.

· Strong alignment with LFC Foundation mission and values.

· Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Experience within creative, community, or education settings.

· Knowledge of local industries in New York and/or New Jersey.

Technical Skills

· Safeguarding Young People – Level 1 (or U.S. equivalent).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Experience collecting and managing program data

This is a Fixed Term Contract.
