About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a PL Inspires Coordinator! The main purpose of this job is to create and deliver a world-class secondary school programme, to provide life-changing opportunities in the most deprived areas of Merseyside, supporting those who are marginalised or at risk of not reaching their potential and allowing them to develop the person skills, knowledge and attitude to succeed in life.

What will you be doing?

The key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Deliver an educational programme that both up-skill and raise the aspiration and overall engagement of young people.
  • Create curriculum and work with external partners to achieve programme KPIs.
  • Manage relationship with school leads and work closely with them to target those most at risk.
  • Create a project delivery timetable inclusive of one-to-one mentoring sessions with young people that support mental wellbeing and encourage positive behaviour, school attendance and educational engagement.
  • Adhere to the LFC Foundation’s safeguarding procedure at all times.
  • Ensure that the monitoring and evaluation framework is carried out effectively to ensure data is captured accurately and in line with our reporting procedures.
  • Continually carry out the quality assurance procedure to ensure we consistently deliver a world-class programme. 
  • Develop all PLCF report requirements such as Mid-Year, End of Year and Case Studies.
  • Manage the risk across schools to ensure the safety of all young people and staff. 
  • Support other areas of the LFC Foundation, when required. 

Who are we looking for?

To be successful you must have a relevant Level 3 or higher qualification in Education or Teaching, Youth Work Practice of Youth Support Worker. It is also essential that you have a Level 1 Safeguarding Young People qualification, have experience in collecting and analysing data and have proficiency on social media platforms.

The successful candidate will also have experience in planning and delivering educational sessions, have an excellent understanding of inclusive youth work practices and knowledge of mentoring in a youth work context. You should also have experience in signposting young people to further opportunities, have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills as well as strong organisational, the ability to evaluate successes and areas for development and the ability to build positive and professional relationships with key stakeholders.
