About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Media team as a Production Manager. In this role you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day logistics and resource of the LFC media department production across all platforms – TV, online and social. You will oversee all production management projects, workloads and logistical requirements within the team. Working with all content leads to fulfil the execution of content in the most effective and efficient way.

What will you be doing?

  • Management of day-to-day logistics for the Media Department including receiving and handling all requests for Media resource.
  • Management of the rota of all production crew in the department and all holiday requests.
  • Working with content leads and senior editors to plan out edit schedules for all production across the department.
  • Working with content leads and senior Camera operators to make sure all filming requests and shoots across the department and club are scheduled and briefed in
  • Manage all freelance talent including sourcing, booking of all production freelancers. 
  • Producing daily call sheets breaking down plans for each day and resource allocated on each production
  • Forecasting and managing budgeting across freelance talent, across all invoicing and purchase orders of all bookings.
  • Producing Matchday breakdowns and responsible for the logistics of operations around all matchdays including accreditation, camera positions, stadium access, travel and dealing with competition governing bodies and external broadcasters.
  • Booking all match day feeds, downlinks and on-passes of all games we cover.
  • Arranging and overseeing documentation as necessary for film shoots.
  • Management and delegation of work to Production Co-ordinator

Who are we looking for?

To be successful, you will have knowledge of production workflows and production documentation necessary for shoots. Knowledge and experience working within a Sports broadcasting environment, together with understanding of football governing bodies . You will have a good understanding of production tooling and what is available, as well as experience of producing clear production documents.

With your strong leadership ability, you can communicate effectively and efficiently; confidently giving direction and communicating with everyone creating a positive atmosphere. Using own initiative to manage schedules, you will be organised and be able to plan prioritise and multitask. You can work in a fast-paced production environment with flexibly to fast changing turnarounds and priorities. You’ll have the ability to problem solve; always being one step ahead of what's going on, anticipating issues that may occur and adapting to changing timescales and issues well. You’ll have strong IT and budget management skills.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week on a 5 from 7 day basis. Your main base will be our Head Office in Liverpool City Centre which is close to local bars, shops and restaurants and has great views over the river Mersey.
