About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC Retail Marketing team as a Senior Specialist, Graphic Designer. You will work within the Retail department and report to the Director, Retail Marketing. You will be a member of LFC Retail marketing design team who are tasked with delivering the visual elements of the LFC Retail  trading calendar as well as,  creative materials that support the day to day operations of the department.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist in the delivery of LFC Retail trading calendar by assisting in delivery of the LFC Retail design team task list. This includes ensuring all LFC Retail design assets are prepared for go-live are on time, are of the highest standard, optimised by channel, are in line with the department's objectives/strategies, adhere to the Clubs brand guidelines and have received the appropriate level of sign-off
  • Liaise with external design agencies, media partners, the LFC Customer Marketing team and LFC Retail Marketing Manager to design LFC Retail design inventory for on time go live. To include digital, physical store and above the line inventory.
  • Work with your fellow LFC Retail Marketing design team members, external agencies, Director, Retail Marketing and Retail Marketing Manager to develop marketing leading creative concepts for LFC Retail product to achieve on-time launches and achieve agreed sales targets.
  • Support the e-commerce team in delivering their sales targets by providing appropriate assets for the club's online stores and LFC Store app
  • Deliver LFC store sales by liaising with external design agencies to support the delivery of store window executions and installations and all point of sale material.
  • Support international LFC Retail partners and licensee sales by consistently delivering assets for aligned campaigns and providing design assistance and guidance when requested.
  • Analyse LFC Retail campaign performance to ensure assets are being optimised for channel and improvements are made to future campaigns to deliver year-on-year revenue growth.
  • Support in the delivery on internal design assets such as presentations and conferences

Who are we looking for? 

To be successful in this role, you will be enthusiastic, well-organised and flexible person who can maintain a high degree of design accuracy whilst working to deadlines. You will have a creative flair, strong interpersonal and analytical skills and able to work on your own initiative as well as with others as part of a team. For this position, you should have experience in a brand, retail or FMCG setting. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have a flexible approach to working hours when relevant. 

The ideal candidate will have a good understand of global social media channels and how to deliver effective assets for use on each channel. You will have relevant design qualifications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, plus, familiar with HTML email and web language. You will be competent in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics and confident in designing copy and graphics for print.
