About the role

Here at Liverpool Football Club, we are looking for an experienced Stock Controller to join our team here at Anfield Stadium.

Reporting into the senior administrator on any variances in physical stock for actions or investigation, including control of stock rotation, waste, and transfers. You will be responsible for ensuring bar facilities are stocked adequately for match day and events across all hospitality areas whilst working closely with our back of house team. 

A Personal License is desirable, however is not essential.

This role is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.

 

 What will you be doing?

  • Complete regular inventory audits, rotation of stock items, and implementation of procedures to avoid expiration of best before dates on stock items.
  • Coordinating stock control operations with stores team to prevent over stocking and running out of stock.
  • Overseeing stock storage processes across all bars and storerooms. 
  • Ensuring goods are received and processed into the department in an efficient and timely manner, completing necessary stock allocation paperwork.
  • Confirmation of accurate closing stock counts on matchdays and events.
  • Investigating and addressing inventory discrepancies, sharing knowledge of investigation and correcting variances where possible.
  • Updating stock information on the computer system where required.

 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for applicants who have previous experience within stock control, preferably within a customer facing catering environment. Have in-depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices, a good understanding of supply chain procedures, with a high level of attention to detail and task prioritisation. 

Applicants must also have previous use of catering equipment, have competent IT skills including reporting systems and Microsoft Office, proficiency in front of house POS operations, and good manual handling skills.

Applicants must possess a Basic Food Hygiene Level 1 and 2.

A Personal License is desirable, however is not essential for this role.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week, 5 from 7 days, including evenings and weekends. Your main base will be our Anfield Stadium.
